TowHub Cash for Cars ("we", "us") is a vehicle purchasing and removal service operated from 4 Barossa Street, Kingston QLD 4114, and part of the Tow Hub Brisbane group. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
When you request a quote by form or phone, we collect:
Your name and phone number; details of the vehicle you want to sell (make, model, year, condition, registration status); the suburb or address where the vehicle is located; and any photos of the vehicle you choose to send us. If a sale proceeds, Queensland law requires us as a licensed motor dealer to record identification and proof-of-ownership details to document the transaction.
We use your information to prepare and deliver your quote, contact you about your enquiry, arrange vehicle pickup and payment, complete legally required sale documentation, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your details for marketing unrelated to your enquiry.
Quote forms on this website are processed by Web3Forms, which transmits your submission to our email. Payment to you is made by bank transfer; we do not store your banking details on this website. We use trusted service providers (such as website hosting and email) that may process data on our behalf under appropriate protections.
This website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion tracking. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to measure how visitors reach and use the site — for example, whether an enquiry followed an advertisement. This measurement data is aggregated and does not give us access to your Google account. Calls to our advertised numbers may be measured for duration to assess advertising performance. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of Google's personalised advertising at Google's Ads Settings.
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we retain transaction records only as long as required for legal, licensing and accounting obligations under Queensland motor dealing law.
